Last (3rd) EX Final Contenders
Now that Koby is out of the way as a BF (some ppl thought he’d get an EX), I think second EX goes to kuzan fittingly. As for the last I think it simply HAS to be BBv2. But idk if anything is really ever that simple to Bandai. It’s very clear that they don’t like Blackbeard and view him as unpopular character (bc he’s a nasty mf and a villain), so him being a main ex is surprising coming from them. The only other reason why I think he could get snubbed is bc of the trend OPBR has been following where they always end off on a “good guy” (i.e. MC’s and popular characters who are guaranteed cash cows). That’s where Sabo and G5v2 (who both make top ten popular characters in Japan I believe) come in. I don’t think it makes sense nor do I really want either of these characters at this time but they are the most popular relevant characters in the egghead story rn that Bandai could milk. I genuinely don’t think anyone else in this arc has the potential to get a LAST ex that costs 3500+. In a perfect world, it is as simple as kuzan Blackbeard and I think it will happen but like I said NEVER underestimate bandais love for the big sack 💪
